Scholarship for the Destination Australia Program at the University of New England in 2023

The Destination Australia Program Scholarship at the University of New England 2023 is available for Bachelor, Master, and Diploma degrees in any discipline provided by the university. This scholarship is given by the University of New England and has a value of Partial Funding, $15,000 a year. This scholarship is accessible to all nationalities.

The Commonwealth Government has chosen the University of New England as one of the higher education institutions that will offer a number of new Destination Australia Program (DAP) scholarships beginning in the 2020-2023 academic year. UNE is excited to provide DAP financial assistance to new domestic and foreign students interested in studying at Australia’s oldest regional university, which is located in the gorgeous New England area of northern NSW and has seven residential colleges on its main Armidale campus.

UNE has a long and illustrious history of world-class research in a variety of subjects. Agriculture, Land & Farm Management; Animal Production; Ecology; Environmental Science & Management; Evolutionary Biology; Genetics; Geology; Macromolecular & Materials Chemistry; Pure Mathematics; Soil Sciences; Zoology; and Psychology were all awarded top 5-star ratings in ERA 2018. For the additional 12 specialized study disciplines, UNE received a 4-star rating in the ‘Above World Standard’ category or a 3-star rating in the ‘World Standard’ category.

Important Notices

  • The scholarship will be handled by the UNE Alumni Relations and Student Scholarships team and given based on the Executive Principal Student Experience’s recommendation.
  • The decision of the Selection Committee is final.
  • To secure protection under the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000, international students must retain a Student Visa for the term of the Scholarship.
