Fully Funded Scholarships in the United Kingdom

International Development: Full Fees Scholarship 2023/4, England is now accepting applications from international students. The scholarship enables postgraduate-level courses in international development studies and social sciences at the University of East Anglia. The scholarship deadline is April 30, 2023.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) International Development: Entire Costs Scholarship is a scholarship program that pays the full tuition fees for international students pursuing a Master’s degree in International Development at UEA. The scholarship is designed to help brilliant and ambitious students from low- and middle-income countries who have a high academic record and want to make a difference in their communities. The scholarship covers the entire cost of tuition but does not include a stipend for living expenses. When admitted to the UEA International Development program, eligible candidates will be immediately considered for the award.

The Institution of East Anglia (UEA) is an English public research university based in Norwich. It was founded in 1963 and is well-known for its high-quality research, notably in environmental sciences and creative writing. UEA provides undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the arts, humanities, social sciences, sciences, health, and medicine. The Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research and the East of England Energy Group are two of the university’s major research institutions.

The School of Foreign Development is happy to offer five competitive scholarships worth £19,800 to international fee-status students enrolled in any of our full-time Master’s courses in 2023/4.

This prize will be given to successful applicants in the form of a tuition discount from their international charge.

How to Apply?

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifying requirements to apply for the School of International Development Scholarship:

  • Be a graduate of any international institution.
  • Hold a degree with a classification of 2:1 (or international equivalent).
  • To have secured an offer of a place to study your chosen MA or MSc course. Apply for your course at https://www.uea.ac.uk/apply/postgraduate#masters

The key part of your scholarship application will be to answer the following question in no more than 250 words: How does the course you have applied for help you achieve your career goals and how would your experiences and interests aid the learning of the cohort as a whole?

We are seeking a well-written and brief overview of how you feel the skills, knowledge, and experience gained through studying for this degree at the School of International Development will help you accomplish your professional objectives. We are also interested in knowing how your prior experiences and interests might benefit your colleagues on the same course and the larger Master’s cohort in general.
